There's always a rotten apple in the bunch

While at the bar last week with chums, I treated myself to a Magners Cider ... which boasted that it was made with, '17 different types of apples' ... who knew that there were so many different types of apples?

Seriously, there are a lot of different types of apples, the most common varieties include:
  • Baldwin
  • Cortland
  • Crabapple
  • Criterion
  • Gala
  • Golden Delicious
  • Granny Smith
  • Gravenstein
  • Jonathan
  • Lady
  • Macoun
  • McIntosh
  • Northern Spy
  • Pippin
  • Red Delicious
  • Rhode Island Greening
  • Rome Beauty
  • Stayman
  • Winesap
  • York Imperial
